Port to port, the trip to Honolulu takes about 7 to 10 days, including terminal time. The inter-island leg to Kauai adds a connection, so neighbor island moves run toward the longer end of our 12 to 20 day door to door range.
Longer routes can take up to about 25 days. Weather can also play a part. High winds and low visibility can keep a vessel outside the harbor entrance until conditions ease.
